HS Budget
This report describes the President’s FY2008 request for funding for DHS programs and activities, as submitted to Congress on February 5, 2007. It tracks legislative action and congressional issues related to the FY2008 DHS appropriations bills with particular attention paid to discretionary funding amounts. The Administration requested a net appropriation of $35.5 billion in net budget authority for FY2008.
